Pumpkin Decorating with Tattly!

Halloween is this weekend and we have a great last-minute DIY for all of you Fab parents! Pumpkin decorating with Tattly! How cool is this — No carving, no mess and it is a great way to make your house Trick or Treat ready in under 10 minutes!


It is as easy as 1, 2, 3 – Here’s What You Will Need!

  • Tattly Temporary Tattoos (comes with sponge)
  • Pumpkin
  • Water
  • A Clean Work Space


Here’s What To Do!

  1. Have a clean work space set up with your pumpkins, cup of water and tattoos
  2. Pick a tattoo
  3. Peel the clear part from the tattoo
  4. Place the tattoo on the pumpkin
  5. With a wet sponge, hold the tattoo on the pumpkin for about 10-15 seconds
  6. Peel up the paper
  7. Voila! You are all set!

Halloween Fascinators

One of my favorite things about October is the variety of Halloween-themed clothing accessories that you can wear anytime without looking too costume-y. My favorite motif to accessorize in is the spider (even though I cringe at the site of a real one), and this year I was inspired to make hair accessories—specifically fascinators— for the girls. The July 4th holiday is around the corner, can you believe it?! School’s out, and before you know it the bags (or coolers) will be packed for another Independence Day celebration. No matter where you will be celebrating this year— whether it’s a backyard BBQ or a beach weekend—some things will always be required: red, white & blue decorations and clothing and somewhere to watch fireworks. A fun add-on to most parties are sparklers too, but they’re not the safest party prop for kids. However, they don’t need to miss out! There are plenty of sparkler alternatives so your kids can join in on the fun and play it safe. I stopped by my local dollar store for some options and came away with two:
