Halloween Fascinators

Summer Time S’mores!

Can you believe there’s an entire day devoted to chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers! Today is National S’more Day and we couldn’t be more excited! It’s hard to believe, but some people have never indulged in this ooey-gooey treat. Check out our tips on how to create s’mores so good you’ll… want s’more.

Ingredients:

  • Graham Crackers
  • Pieces Of Chocolate
  • Large Marshmallows

What You Will Need:

  • Shish Kabob Skewers or Sticks
  • Some Sort Of Flame or Fire

What You Will do:

  1. Place a piece of chocolate one graham cracker. Set it aside.
  2. Push the stick through one marshmallow. Roast over fire.
  3. While still warm, immediately place the marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
  4. Place the other half of the graham cracker on top, forming a sandwhich.
  5. Enjoy 🙂

National Watermelon Day Recipe!

It’s National Watermelon Day today and we have a sweet new recipe to share that your FabKids will love! Watermelon pops! They make for the perfect summer delight or even a great afternoon snack option for Back To School time 🙂

Here’s What You Will Need:

-Popsicle Sticks

-Watermelon (talk about an easy ingredients list!)

Here’s What To Do:

1. Wash your Watermelon (you never know what journey that Watermelon went on before landing in your kitchen)

2. Slice your watermelon into triangular pieces.

3. With a knife, make a slit in the rind in order to put in the popsicle stick.

4. Put in the popsicle stick, and you are all ready to snack on your watermelon pop!

5. To turn them into a refreshing summer snack, simply place the pops in a freezer bag and leave them in the freezer or refrigerator to cool for as little or as long as you would like!
